State Farm NFL Promotion
As the official sponsor of the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl, State Farm created a promotion to send winners on the Ultimate Pro Bowl Getaway. Developed initial concepts and design directions for client based on NFL promotion brief. The Hawaiian beach concept that was chosen by the client was handled by freakdigital after its initial development. freakdigital was responsible for the art direction from this point to site launch. The site was developed as the end destination for consumers being driven from television, print and online advertising and was the sole vehicle through which consumers entered the State Farm NFL promotion. The site offers an engaging Hawaiian football-themed game, Pro Bowl history, facts and a trivia quiz. Howie Long, who appears in the television commercials, was also captured on green screen to provide a rich experience and some humor to the website, providing an introduction to the site's content as well as making random appearances to add levity to the site throughout the user experience. Also oversaw the art direction of the online advertising that drove visitors to the main site.Role: Design, art direction related to both site and the supporting online advertising driving to the site.
