Frutista FreezeTaco Bell wanted to announce and promote a new beverage product, Frutista Freeze. The frozen, blended drinks, offered in a variety of flavors and topped with real strawberries, were positioned around the idea of escape. The website needed to communicate the product attributes, in particular the real strawberries, but also to support and extend the escape positioning established through the television spots. freakdigital concepted and designed an interactive game component for the microsite: The Fruiting Gallery game. Users were invited to upload images of typical stresses within their own lives, like co-workers, bosses or ex-boyfriends. They then protect themselves from their stresses by tossing fruit at them, as well as being aided by Frutista Freeze power ups that further emphasized the product positioning.
